Kumiho
The Kumiho is a form of nine tail fox. They are a strictly female race, no-one is sure how they came into being, only that one day they simply appeared. It is said that they are purely evil creatures, with no moral compass whats so ever. Their favorite meal is the human heart and second to that is the human liver, in fact if they abstain from killing and eating humans for a thousand days, they will become human. They are skilled above most in the Outcasts in speed and stealth which makes them perfect assassins and thieves. The true identity of a Kumiho is guarded zealously by the Kumiho themselves. Because of this they are rarely spotted in their true forms, this is another moment where their stealth comes into play, and even if they are spotted they will go to great lengths to try to deceive you into believing it isn't them.
When in true form they are still humanoid but have a nine tail and fox ears, some even have fox like eyes. Their skin tends to be light to tan with the color of their fur ranging from black to red to even unnatural colors in rare cases (This does not mean Neko!!). They do have a human form that will pass as any other human, their tails and ears hidden. It is said they are among some of the most beautiful women in our world.
Strength
Stealth
(Active) Due to their nature of hiding themselves from others, stealth has always been a skill they aimed to perfect. Moving quickly, quietly and without notice. This makes them amazing guards, for you'll rarely seen them following their employer and even better thieves for you will not feel their hands in your pockets. (There are still times this strength will have to be rolled, to go totally unnoticed, to put your hand in a pocket without being noticed, so on and so forth. 35 and under is a fail, not counting the Hierarchy Stacking.)
Weakness
Blood Frenzy
(Passive) The scent of human blood tends to send them into a frenzy, even more so when they have not feed in decent amount of time. In this one thing they are very similar to the Vampires, the more blood they are exposure to the worst the frenzy can be. It can range from a drop of blood to a flow of it, depending on this and their need to feed will depend on their reaction to the blood.
Skills
(Remember pick two of the five)
Skin Swapping
(Active) To put it simply this means to literally take off their skin and trade it with another (this must be approved OOC before it happens.) It is a trade, the human will take on the Kumiho's skin and the Kumiho will take on the human's skin. There is a cost for this, it weakens the Kumiho and they must stay in that traded skin for 3 to 7 days. It is often used in making deals, paying off debts or in the use of a job.(Must roll the dice to see success or failure, anything higher than 50 succeeds. There will be one roll each day to determine if it 'sticks'. This is not counting Hierarchy Stacking)
Hypnotism
(Active) With the use of their attractive appearance and skill in singing or instruments they can hypnotize those they aim to for small periods of time, this is used when they need information, which to ease a would be victim or simply for their own amusement. (This can only last three posts and success or fail is determined by dice roll. Fail if under a roll of 50 this is not including Hierarchy Stacking on dice according to rank)
Blood Healing
(Active) Humiho are able to take what is left of their victims (what they don't eat) and use it as a healing balm at a later point. One will often seen Kumiho's homes darted with jars that if they opened would contain the balm. Each Kumiho goes about making it a different way and only some can be used on other creatures, while using the others will do them more harm than good.(The person, if a non-Kumiho, most roll to see if it is harmful or helpful in their case. Again under 50 is a fail. This is not counting Hierarchy Stacking)
Foxfire
(Active) The Kumiho is legendary for it's ability to cause and create flames from nothing. A Kumiho's foxfire will burn purple, but a stronger Kumiho may be able to control the color more. It cannot start a “regular” fire, but it can hold it in their hands to light their way at night, or throw it like a weapon. Clothing made of cotton will not be damaged by foxfire, but if the foxfire is large enough to go past the clothing or armor, it will blister the skin beneath. Foxfire is not “hot” therefore it gives off no real heat, but the resulting injury looks and acts like a high-degree burn or acid burn. Kumiho of moderate power can call foxfire into the air around them, the size and distance depends on how great their abilities actually are. Normal Kumiho can call it on or in their hands or along their tails. A Kumiho in true form may cover all their fur with foxfire, but this can quickly drain the average Kumiho.(Success or fail is determined by dice roll. Fail if under a roll of 50 this is not including Hierarchy Stacking on dice according to rank. If you hold it for more than three posts you must roll again.Though with each roll you will become weaker depending on how large the flame is.This is not counting Hierarchy Stacking)
Luxos Ward
(Active) The Kumiho are one of only three races in our world that can create wards, and each race creates a different type. The Luxos Ward is one of protection, used to notify the owner is someone unwelcome passes said ward, it can even stop a person from entering a protected place. When the owner wears it, it can help to protect them, warning them when danger is near (These will all be things you roll for, to be explained on the wards page.) The Kumiho is only able to make 5 wards every seven days, for as each ward is used it will take a bit of spiritual energy out of them (Must roll the dice to see success or failure, anything higher than 50 succeeds. Unless you are making them for the Akasen, than it is an automatic success.)
