Banshee
Banshees are one of the only remains of what used to hint at elves, even existing in the torn world of Oras de Noapte. Before the wars the race of elves was small, but now it is completely gone and wiped from the world. The damage and conversion into these woeful creatures that were once beautiful maidens was rather painful. Leaving them as spectral forms that can only manifest themselves as 'appearing' physical, but never will you find one able to hold form for long enough. Their once beautiful voices that sang old songs often now fill the air with sorrowful wails lamenting of their old times and happiness. Because of this they are only found within the ruins and church yards abandoned by the human race because most races have a hard time dealing with their nature.
Banshees became enlisted to the Noble courts originally as Bards and Musicians who sang, forbidden to use their wailing screams in the halls. They are found to be in company of the Vampires for music or strategic reasons only. On such rare cases the Vampires have used Banshees for their intelligence in understanding and executing long and complex plots as strategists, so it is not hard to find one or two with a Vampire assisting them in their plans.
Outside of such 'courteous' activities, and originally known as undead creatures who have a vicious taste for vengeance against those who shattered her in her previous life, it is quiet easy to upset a Banshee if you're not careful, and so the Nobles place them in the company of the moody Ankou to help them with their studies and guarding the church from looters and thieves. Because of their intelligence and having retained their minds, Banshees are good assistants, and those who can perform studies at their leisure.
STRENGTHS
Intelligent Mind (passive)
In most cases an undead creature does not retain their mind/intelligence (I.E. zombies) and have no will of their own. Banshees retain theirs, making them suitable for intelligent conversations, studies, and most of all strategies and plots. This often makes it easy for others to hire/request tasks from Banshees since most other undead creatures are not capable of spoken word or need control.
WEAKNESS
Bright Light (passive)
Full morning light or heavy lights distract and hurt a Banshee, causing them to disappear or hide in the shadows. Because light is so painful, it is almost instinctive, even if hit by ray of lights through a window, to move out of the way and into the shadows.
Skills

Heartbeats (Active) - A banshee can sense any living being through their beating hearts within respective meters. (If used this must be a roll of 50 or above to be successful. Failure as normal must be RPed out as such, and the 'distance' of being able to sense is decided by the parties involved in the RP.)
Living Terror (Active) - If touched or grabbed by a banshee in combat, the person targeted/grabbed will be frozen in fear and unable to move for at least three posts. (The roll must be 50 or higher for the Banshee to be successful. Fails must be RPed.)
Sorrowful Wail (Active) - When a Banshee wails the sound travels either to those who are closest to her OR if she has targeted a single person (by naming them in her post). This will deafen them for three posts, rendering them unable to hear. (Must Roll a 30 or higher for success.)
Bardic Touch (passive) - When a Banshee is not using her voice in an aggressive/vengeful manner and is singing/playing, some might find it relaxing and beautifully haunting - moreso then other Banshees who may not have this skill. It will cause a slight aura of relaxation.
Light Dispel (active) - The ability to dispel old wards/talismans on old artifacts or on tombs for studies. (Must roll a 30 at least for it to be a successful dispel/removal and may only be used twice every two days. Effects can be draining to a banshee if successful and must be played out after successful use.)
Appearance & traits
Since banshees are spectral undead that can manifest to appear 'physical' for short periods of time, people will be able to see that they are beautiful woman that have ivory/pearl/ghostly skin. Pointed ears from short to semi long only. Eyes that are black/ice blue/violet red(rare)/silver and hair that is normally white or off shades pastels/blues (nothing bright though). Banshees, depending on the character, may dress from ragged, if they are church dwellers only, to elegant if they are around Nobles. They do like nice things if they have the means to have it.
Keep in mind if a banshee manifests fully it drains them significantly - they won't be manifested for hours. So most of your time your character should be spent 'ghostly' in appearance.
Instruments range from piano playing, harps, stringed interments, and of course their voices.
